![]() ![]() I did enjoy their main meat however, on the one occasion I had to dine on it, and their liver is always pleasant. Therefore the only birds which immediately stand out in my mind when I see your question and will probably remain so until the end of time, the only ones I can honestly say I actively dislike, are Canadian geese. Especially if I have any actual lived experiences encountering such. The ones I dislike are due to the same reasoning behind what I dislike in any non-avian animal, which is those that bother people, and more importantly, specifically me in an intrusive gang or pest-like way. They're technically dinosaurs after all and I enjoy the continued existence of most if only for that reason alone, of the connection with and presence of something remaining still from the Jurassic Period. There aren't many types of birds I would say I actually dislike. No, black is one of my favorite colors after purple and grey, so I've always enjoyed the aesthetic of crows and ravens, their use in horror and Gothic literature, association with farms and rural living, etc. Crows I see sometimes, but other than being loud I've never had any issues with them. So there are some birds out there I don't hate. And the hawks tend to just circle the sky. The wild turkeys can be annoying when they try to cross the road, but I don't hate them. I think the owls that I hear around are pretty cool though. There's these chickens and roosters that are by the casino and they will chase you. I live near a usually small creek (which has turned into a small river lately due to all the rain) and they get these ducks and geese and they will chase you (the geese. Pigeons try to poop on you so I hate them too. There's these little evil black birds with yellow eyes that are in the grocery store parking lots that will perch on your car and attack you. Here, you have the option to turn off ‘Notifications’ altogether. With ‘System’ selected in the left panel, click on Notifications on the right. I also hate vultures because they are creepy as hell to look at eating roadkill on the side of the road or ominously circling in the sky. Method 1: Turn off alert sounds using Settings To turn off notification sounds, press Win + I to open the Settings window. I hate woodpeckers because there are these annoying ones that like to peck at the neighbors house and these poor people have sprayed (thinking maybe they had bugs or something) and refixed the siding on their house only for the damn birds to peck holes in the house over and over again. I live in the California foothills and there is a very varied population of birds. Crows are not among the many birds I hate.
